How to add your Haiku front facing class to the LBUSD website

Please follow these simple steps to add your Haiku class to the LBUSD website (the one you created for the LBUSD front facing webpage). Remember, each teacher has been asked to create a front facing webpage in Haiku for the the LBUSD website. This page should contain important detail information for the parents, students, and community. It should include: Contact information, a brief description of the classes you teach, a photograph and or a description about you, links to your classes (for students), class syllabus, class rules (optional).

Change URL in Class Settings

1. Click on Manage Class.
2. Select Class Settings.

Unlock Class URL

1. Click on the lock to unlock your class.
2. Click Yes, Change.

Change the Name of your Class URL

1. Change the Class URL to home (all lowercase).
2. Verify the NEW URL ends in /home (after your username).
3. Add a Short Summary.
4. Verify the Year(s) is set to 2015-16.
5. Verify and change if necessary, the Class will be visible to, "Anyone on the web".
6. Uncheck all Checkboxes.
7. Click Save.
